Star Polyps are an encrusting coral. They are peaceful and will not sting other corals that are near them however they may grow over the skeletons of harder coral. They are easy to maintain and make a good begginers coral. They need medium to high light and medium to strong water flow. Star Polyps benefit from regular feedings or microplanktons and other filter feeding foods.
