Shipping Info:
At this time, Blue Reef Aquatics is not currently shipping fish. Blue Reef Aquatics ships coral and supplies to locations within the 48 continental United States and Alaska. There is a $40 surcharge on all orders shipped to Alaska.
There is a $69 minimum order for delivery. If your order totals less than $150 actual shipping charges will apply. You must call the store to complete any orders that total less than $69.
All livestock orders over $229 will ship for free with no box charge. Any order between $150 and $229 will ship for a flat fee of $45.
All Blue Reef Aquatics orders are shipped via Fedex Priority Overnight service. You will receive an email the day your order ships, with the Fedex tracking number, to enable you to make arrangements to receive your package(s). On the day of delivery we strongly advise that someone is available at the time of delivery to prevent the shipment from being exposed to the elements and extreme temperatures. Our guarantee will be void in the event no one is available on the 1st delivery attempt. The package(s) must be accepted even if the shipment arrives late or arrives damaged. Please contact us ASAP in the event that this happens.

Guarantee:
Buy with confidence. All aquarium livestock are hand-picked, carefully screened for quality and health by us (The Owners). Blue Reef Aquatics guarantees that all livestock (except exempt species) will arrive alive and live for 10 days or we will issue store credit for the purchase price of your lost item. Exempt species will be noted on the description page.Terms and Conditions:
- Please read 'Terms and Conditions' carefully as there will be no exceptions.
- Please do not ship deceased specimens without our consent.
- Please do not discard specimens without our consent as this will void our guarantee.
- Please freeze deceased specimens while you wait for return authorization.
- If your deceased animal goes 'missing' or gets 'eaten', we will not provide a refund. Many missing animals are hiding and are not deceased. It is your responsibility to provide proof of the deceased specimen.
- Ten day guarantee begins on the initial delivery date.
- Customer must sign for package on the first delivery attempt -- even if FedEx is late.
- Customer must follow all acclimation procedures.
- Tank’s water chemistry must be within the following parameters:
- Temperature – between 75°- 83° F and constant
- Ammonia – 0.0 ppm
- Nitrite – 0.0 ppm
- Nitrate – 0.0-30 ppm
- pH – 8.1-8.4
- Specific gravity – 1.020-1.025- We will not be responsible for livestock that has died as a result of being harassed or picked on by other fish.
- Specimen must be returned with a return authorization number according to directions below.
- We will not issue refunds or credit for shipping costs.
- Guarantee applies to online orders only.
How to Return Your Dearly Departed Livestock:
- Call or email (info@bluereefaquatics.com) immediately within Ten days to report loss. Be sure to include name, number, and message.
- Option 1: Take a digital picture in jpeg or gif format and email to info@bluereefaquatics.com Be sure to include your full name or order number in the email, name of the item lost, and picture.
- Option 2: Place deceased specimen in sealed plastic bag and place in the freezer. After you receive return authorization by phone or email, place sealed bag in a padded envelope or small box and ship to the Blue Reef Aquatics address that will be given when you notify us. Write return authorization number on back of envelope. Packages must be received within 7 days of authorization.
- We will call or email you to let you know your account has been credited. Sorry, we do not issue credit or refunds for any shipping costs.
Pricing & Policy:
- Prices, policies and procedures are subject to change without notice.
- Mislabeled prices will not be honored. The buyer will accept any price correction or the order will be cancelled without penalty.
*Our online store and retail store are two different operations. Therefore, prices and policies will vary.
Exchange/Return Policy:
No fish, coral, invertebrates, live rock, or live sand may be returned or exchanged for any reason.
- All dry goods and aquarium supplies are subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be unopened and in re-sellable condition.
- No returns will be accepted without return authorization from Blue Reef Aquatics
- Return shipping is at your expense.
- If any of your merchandise is damaged or defective you must notify us immediately to receive return authorization.
- Damaged or defective merchandise will be exchanged for the same item and Blue Reef Aquatics will pay for all related shipping charges.
- No returns or exchanges of any kind for any product will be accepted after 30 days from the invoice date. We will be glad to refer you to the manufacturer in the unlikely event you require warranty service for any product purchased.
- Any orders you wish to cancel must be cancelled within 24 hours after placing your order.
